Toolmex is serious about quality. That's why we've invested in our Quality Assurance Lab (QAL) to support
product research & development as well as measuring and testing the
on-going manfucturing quality of our products to insure our customers
consistently high quality products.
Why build the QA Lab?
Designing and developing products for demanding and challenging markets such as Aerospace, Medical and Power Gen requires consistency, precision and performance. With an increase in global sourcing comes the need to be even more certain that part meets quality requirements before using them.
The QAL enables Toolmex to develop and manufacture increasingly higher quality products to improve customer productivity that enable Toolmex to differentiate its product offerings with greater value, precision and performance.
What is inside the QAL?
The QAL includes an impressive set of state-of-the-art measurement and inspection equipment that will enable Toolmex to test virtually any aspect or criteria of tooling precision, durability and performance including:
- Hardness
- Outside and inside dimensions
- Chuck runouts
- Thread accuracy and dimensions
How will the QAL be managed and staffed?
Toolmex formed a cross-functional QA Development Team team to integrate the QAL policies and procedures into virtually every operating aspect of the company including product engineering, product development, sales & marketing, customer service & support, and distribution. The team is led by an expert in quality assurance and staffed with dedicated QA technicians.
