Inside Sales Representative

Under the direction of the Inside Sales Manager, the Inside Sales Representative works cooperatively with members of the sales team to increase sales by uncovering lead opportunities, establishing new accounts and proactively cultivating existing accounts. You must be comfortable making dozens of calls per day, generating interest, qualifying prospects and closing sales. Experience with electric motors, pumps, compressors, fans, extruders and conveyors a plus.


Primary Responsibilities

  • Achieve monthly and annual sales targets
  • Generate sales growth by proactively sourcing new opportunities through inbound lead follow-up and outbound cold calls and emails
  • Increase account penetration by calling on existing customers to introduce new products and promotions
  • Engage prospects and customers into closing conversations to generate new and repeat sales
  • Accurately document communication, sales activity and market data in CRM system
  • Develop and maintain product knowledge to successfully analyze and interpret customer needs
  • Independently research potential industries to identify key players and equipment for sales opportunities
  • Consistently follow-up and utilize selling skills to secure orders
  • Enter, track, and prepare quotes, orders, backorders, and RMAs
  • Meet professional goals and work effectively with other team members
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Experience & Skills

  • Entrepreneurial mind set and strong desire for financial reward
  • Highly motivated self-starter with hunter mentality
  • Minimum 5-years inside sales experience with track record of over-achieving quota required
  • Strong phone presence and high comfort level in telephone selling
  • Mechanical abilities and aptitude with technical understanding of manufacturing a plus
  • Demonstrate a high level of curiosity, technical acumen, and oral and written communication
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office software (Outlook, Excel, Word)

Business Development Manager


If you are a strategic thinker and have a hunger to chase, develop and close new business, this is the job for you! This is a senior level position and the successful candidate will have a solid knowledge of the metal working industry and the associated competitive landscape. 

 This position will:


• Meet monthly and annual sales revenue goals.
• Increase sales and business exposure by working with existing relationships and through development of new sales channels via targeted accounts.
• Provide forecast sales objectives and ensure internal goal fulfillment .
• Create and implement sales strategies to grow products and services.
• Respond to questions and overcome objections/obstacles in pursuit of sales revenue growth.
• Provide supporting market data for new product introduction through market research and analysis.
• Attend industry functions, trade shows and association events.
• Assist with Company website, marketing metrics and other marketing materials.
• Assist with product development, testing and internal training.


Qualifications:


• Highly results driven with an entrepreneurial mind set and a strong desire for financial reward.
• Demonstrated ability to develop and close business.
• In depth knowledge of the metalworking industry with a focus on toolholding and/or workholding.
• Possess superior communication skills, both written and verbal and strong interpersonal skills.

• Strong time management skills and the ability to be flexible to meet changing business demands.
